Bumblebee and Sam Witwicky built one of the most emotional human-and-Autobot relationships in the Transformers movies. From their very first meeting, they went through fun moments, heartbreak, dangerous battles, and even painful goodbyes together. Their friendship felt genuine because Bumblebee stayed loyal to Sam for years.
But Daytrader is completely different.
According to Hound, Daytrader would become extremely irritating if he stayed around anyone for too long. He talks too much, constantly bothers others, and behaves more like an annoying scavenger than a trustworthy companion. Yet beneath all of that noise, Daytrader actually knew far more than he appeared to.
He was not really on Earth just to collect Cybertronian junk for selling or recycling. His presence felt more like a warning sign for the coming apocalypse. Daytrader immediately recognized the importance of the Talisman and understood that it was connected to something ancient and dangerous. Even though he first assumed the artifact was only a replica, his reaction changed completely once he realized it was real.
That moment revealed that Daytrader was secretly familiar with Cybertronian legends and the signs surrounding the return of the Knights and the destruction approaching Earth.
